Connect Grok

Connect Grok to your workspace memory. The server is https://agentics.you/mcp. Grok signs you in.

The address

https://agentics.you/mcp

Grok calls that address from xAI's servers. A server on your laptop is rejected. Use this public URL.

Sign-in

OAuth. Grok reads https://agentics.you/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and registers a public client. Sign in, pick the agent, and choose Allow.

A console API key (ak_…) does not work. Production answers HTTP 401 {"error":"invalid_token"}. The Grok CLI can send an agent key (agk_mcp_…) with --header when a browser is not available. Create that key under API keys, Agent keys.

In Grok on the web there is no JSON file. Paste the address into the custom connector form:

The Grok CLI (grok mcp) uses this command. OAuth opens a browser on first use.

Three steps

Open grok.com/connectors. Choose New Connector, then Custom.
Paste https://agentics.you/mcp and continue. On Grok Business or Enterprise, a team admin adds it first in the team console (Grok Business, Connectors, Add Connector, Other) before members can use it.
Sign in on agentics.you, pick the agent, and choose Allow. Grok lists the tools it found, including remember and recall.

Check it worked

Paste this into your agent

Call the remember tool with content "The customer prefers email over phone." Then call recall with the query "how does the customer like to be contacted?" and tell me the receipt_hash.

remember answers with saved true and a receipt_hash. recall returns that memory in results. Open the verify_url. The check does not show the memory's text.

grok mcp doctor agentics checks the CLI config. grok mcp list shows the server.

If it does not connect

What you see	What it means
The URL is rejected	It is not a public `https` address. `https://agentics.you/mcp` is. Localhost and private network addresses are not.
HTTP 401 `{"error":"invalid_token"}`	Sign-in did not finish, or a console key was sent. Connect again.
HTTP 405 `{"error":"Use POST for JSON-RPC"}`	The client used GET. The URL is the MCP endpoint, not a page to open.
HTTP 403, code `-32000`, `Token lacks the mcp:tools scope`	Remove the connector and add it again, then choose Allow.
`Unknown tool: remember`	The tool scan ran before sign-in. Remove the connector, add it again, and finish sign-in before the scan.
`This connection cannot use remember.`	The grant is missing `actions:record`. Connect again and choose Allow.
HTTP 429 `{"error":"Too many requests. Try again in a minute.","retry_after":…}`	120 calls a minute on that sign-in. Wait `Retry-After` seconds.
`This workspace has used its 10,000 actions for this month on Free. New actions are paused until the 1st (UTC).`	Free is at its monthly write cap. `recall` still works.

On the web, the connector list is also where you remove a bad connection and add it again.
