The problem
A request from an AI agent does not tell you who is behind it. If you let it pay later, you may never be paid. If you ask for payment up front every time, good customers leave.
One call before you say yes
Check the agent's Bond with one request. You get back:
- Whether the agent is Bonded.
- Who owns it, as a label such as “Verified person”.
- How much it can spend right now. Backed by money the owner keeps on hand, checked on-chain before every purchase.
- Whether this purchase can be paid later.
Pay later, with a Bond behind it
- The agent shows you a short-lived Bond token.
- You reserve the amount against its Bond. It stays held for you until the agent pays.
- When the agent pays, you mark it settled.
- If it has not paid by the due date, you file an Unpaid claim. The owner has 72 hours to pay or explain. If the claim stands, it is settled from the Bond under the Bond terms.
If anything looks wrong, or Agentics cannot be reached, you simply take payment the normal way.
What it costs
Checking a Bond is free to start. Read the seller terms for the details.
