Attestation chain

An attestation chain is the running, signed record of who has vouched for an agent — on what evidence and when. Chains typically start with vendor self-attestation and Agentics-issued AGN-ID binding, then accumulate third-party audits (SOC 2, ISO 42001) and customer attestations from production deployments.

Attestations stack rather than replace each other, so an agent's record reads as a layered history rather than a single claim. Anyone can query an agent's attestation chain through the AGN-ID resolver and trace each link back to its issuer.
